Ian Meng is Professor of Physiology and Director of the Center of Biomedical Research Excellence for the Study of Pain and Sensory Function at the University of New England. Ian's path into science was inspired by a college class, and he's now studying pain and the eye. Ian will be one of the 5 Minute Genuis(TM) speakers at the 2023 Maine Science Festival (www.mainesciencefestival.org) on March 24th, 2023, 7:30pm.
